Naturedao Leadership

The Naturedao team is led by innovator and entrepreneur Dr. Charles Yang.

Dr. Charles Yang is the CEO and founder of Shanghai Naturedao Information Science and Technology Limited. Naturedao's mission is to help stock-traders simultaneously lower risk and increase returns.

Before founding Naturedao, Dr. Yang served as the CEO of TCL Mobile Communication Company. In 2001 he established the Dopod Communication Corporation where he served as the CEO and President between 2001 and 2006, and as the Honorary Chairman between 2006 and 2008.

Before establishing Dopod, Dr. Yang worked in the United States for over 16 years. As the VP of Internet Services at Pixo, his team successfully developed the first generation of mobile Internet service platforms and the first generation of smart phone operating systems, which became the first OS of the Apple iPod.

Dr. Yang has received multiple awards for innovation including: 2002 Man of the Year in IT in China; Man of the Year in Telecommunication, 2003; Top 10 New IT Executives in China, 2004 –2005; and Top 10 Man of the Year in Chinese IT Finance Industry.

Dr. Yang is an expert in smart phones, mobile internet, risk assessment, risk management and operational research. He received his PhD from UCLA in 1990 for his thesis titled, “Expert Systems Reasoning Under Uncertainty.” This background underpins Dr. Yang’s expertise in quantitative trading.
